EDPA launched a program with Vycom that allows the exhibition industry to recycle a large portion of its waste. This no-cost program takes back and recycles printed or unprinted PVC, PE, and Acrylic sheets, as well as scraps and drops from finishing and fabricating. Plastic waste is a global crisis. Although an overwhelming amount of PVC, Acrylic, and PE are not recovered or recycled, they remain valuable long after their initial use. They can be recycled repeatedly, eliminating waste and addressing environmental concerns that grow out of plastics disposal. Vycom is an affiliate of the AZEK company, offering high-quality products made from up to 100% post-consumer and post-industrial recycled materials.

Here’s how this free program works:

1) Contact Vycom to Enroll or to Get Answers to Your Questions
Contact us today to enroll in the Vycom Recycling Program.

2) Receive Bins and Totes for Recycling
Once you enroll in the program, Vycom will provide you with bulk containers to store your recyclable materials. IMPORTANT: Recycled materials must be separated by polymer, i.e., you can’t store PVC and Acrylic in the same bin.

3) Schedule a Pick-Up
When it’s time to schedule a pick-up, contact Vycom at [email protected]. Vycom will coordinate with you and other EDPA member companies to schedule a time and date to come to your facility. We will replenish your bin stock so the process can continue without interruption.

4 ) Your Scrap & Waste is Recycled
After collecting your scrap and waste, we will recycle and repurpose it for our high-quality raw materials to produce beautiful, long-lasting, sustainable products.

WHAT DO WE RECYCLE?

PVC, PE, and Acrylic; printed and unprinted rigid PVC sheets; end of use commercial and retail signage scraps and drops from cutting and fabrication; trade show, mobile exhibits, branded environments, marine, and more.

WHAT YOUR RECYCLED SCRAP MAKES:
• TimberTech Decking
• AZEK Exteriors Trim Boards
